We Moved!

 

We are so excited to announce that we have recently moved into a new office in Worcester. This new space was designed specifically for us and will create a sense of community, collaboration, and purpose for our staff and those we work with. The space includes a large conference room, break room for staff, flex space, and more! We look forward to hosting events in our new space and hope to see you there soon!

Pride Month

At BBBS, justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI) are an integral part of our values and mission. We recognize, affirm, and celebrate the diverse backgrounds, lives, and experiences of all our stakeholders - including youth, families, donors, volunteers, and staff. 

Pride Month is an annual month-long observance of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning history and the history of the gay rights movements. It is celebrated in June to commemorate the Stonewall uprisings in June of 1969.

We believe in the power of mentoring youth from all walks of life! This #PrideMonth, we're PROUD to celebrate our LGBTQ+ family and friends and their ability to be true to themselves.

Recent Events

We recently held our Golf Fore Kids Tournament on June 13th. With incredible weather, a beautiful golf course, an uplifting reception, and over 100 participants, we were able to exceed our goal and raise over $80,000!

The proceeds from the event will support our important mentoring programs. It costs $2,000 to support a match for a full year so we appreciate all those who took part in this fantastic day!

This year, Worcester is celebrating their Tercentennial. We decided to join in on the celebrations and walk in their parade! Staff, board members, Bigs, and Littles showed up to represent BBBS. We donned our signature colors and decorated a truck. In 2023, we will be celebrating our 60th Anniversary so this was just the beginning of commemorating our many years in Worcester and beyond.

Rodman Ride for Kids is an annual noncompetitive charity bike riding event. Join our Rodman team and help us raise over $100,000! Not a bike rider? Not a problem! Rodman makes it easy to "choose your own adventure" and participate in any way you choose! Register today!

Stand With Us Today to Defend Potential

When children and teens have the influence of a caring adult, they are more likely to avoid risky behaviors and to focus on academics. Today's youth face a variety of challenges, and being matched with a Big Brother or Big Sister can help them navigate these challenges and reach their potential.
