Dear Big,

Happy Spring! The staff here at BBBS is excited that warmer and warmer weather is right around the corner! We hope that these activity ideas (both virtual and in-person) can inspire some fun times with you and your Little! We appreciate you taking the time to stay connected with your Little throughout the pandemic and we know that you're making a BIG difference in their life. We hope these activities get you and your Little excited about connecting with each other!

Black Art: Collecting and Being Collected virtual event

Are you and your Little interested in art and Black culture? Join in on this event hosted by ArtsWorcester:

Black Art: Collecting and Being Collected is the fourth in a four-part speaker series hosted by ArtsWorcester intended to amplify Black voices in contemporary art, broadening understandings of Black art history, visual vocabularies, and experiences within the visual art industry. 

The event is being held for free via zoom and Facebook live on April 11th at 6:30pm. For more information and to register, click here.

ArtsWorcester Gallery

Interested in art but looking for in-person activity ideas? Head into the ArtsWorcester gallery! The gallery is free and open Thursday-Sunday from 12-5pm. Schedule your 90-minute appointment here. Bonus points if you and your Little explore some of the murals in downtown Worcester after heading to the gallery or eat lunch in the park behind city hall!

Bay Circuit Trail

Looking for an ongoing outdoor adventure with your Little? Try part of the Bay Circuit Trail which connects 37 Massachusetts towns!
