The BIG Wait

Did you know there are over 30,000 kids waiting for a Big Brother or Big Sister across the nation? Big Brothers Big Sisters of America has teamed up with Arby's to spread the word about #TheBIGWait. BBBS of Central MA and Metrowest alone has over 100 children on our wait list and we know there are more children out there in need of a mentoring relationship. 

If you have been thinking about becoming a Big or know someone who might be interested, now is the time! Below are the steps involved in becoming a Big Brother or Big Sister:

Apply: After inquiring, we will send you an application via mail or e-mail.

Interview: You will be invited to our office to meet with one of our Interview & Match Specialists. During this time, you will have an opportunity to learn about the Agency and our programs.

Background & Reference Checks: We conduct a thorough background check on each volunteer. 

Accepted & Matched: If accepted into our program as a Big Brother or Big Sister, we will assess our wait list of children in your area and find a good fit for you.
